COURSE DESCRIPTION & OVERALL GOAL
This workshop for nurses and other health care workers provides an overview of transmission and pathogenesis of tuberculosis, as well as practical information and suggestions for conducting a contact investigation in a congregate setting. The format includes lectures, interactive discussions, role-play activities and case studies.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This conference is open to TB control staff, nurses and other health care workers who manage patients at risk for or diagnosed with TB infection or disease.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION & FEE
The training is free of charge. Registration is limited to health care professionals in New Jersey and the deadline for registration is October 30, 2015.
Please note that lunch is not provided at the training. We encourage you to bring your own lunch.
